Companies will receive a 20% rebate in corporate income tax, capped at $10,000. The rebate will help companies cope with the rise in rents, wages, utilities and other business costs. For small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs), there is an optional one-off SME Cash Grant, subjected to a cap of $5,000. SMEs will receive either the tax rebate or the grant, whichever is higher. This will cost the government an estimated $560 million.
