Get a Grip on Exchange of Information
Thursday, January 28 2016, 09:00 - 12:00
Programme Objective

With the implementation of Exchange of Information (EOI) between tax authorities, based on global standards set by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) is prepared to actively disclose taxpayers’ confidential information to foreign tax authorities, both on automatic basis (AEOI) and on request basis (EOIR).

Taxpayers are challenging such disclosures. In 2015 itself, there have been two Supreme Court cases on Exchange of Information. The most recent judgement was released in November.

Register early and be one of the first to gain insights into these tax cases and how the EOI principles have been applied by IRAS and reviewed by the Supreme Court.
